This cache is placed near the Apollinaire Monument, in Malmédy.

The cache that I had originally placed for an outdoor activity has finally disappeared. It was under a pile of lumber wood near the monument. I'm still wondering how the cache stayed for more than a year!

You can leave your car at the Apollinaire monument, at N50° 25.860 E6° 00.740.

What does this monument do here? According to several sources, and more specifically Captain Cook: "In the summer of 1899 the 19-years old Wilhelm von Kostrowitzky, later known as Guillaume Apollinaire, got to know the forests and the beautiful lansdcape around Stavelot while his mother spent her time (and her money) in the local casino."

Was met de auto al bijna op de plaats van de cache, maar realiseerde me dat ik voorbij het monument was gereden, dus keren, terug, parkeren en lekker een stukkie lopen om de cache te spotten, te vinden en te loggen.

Back home after a day caching in Luxemburg we (Team Gebrook and I) stopped to find this cache. After a quick view of the monument we walked down to the cache. After logging we looked to the TB, but unfortunately it was not there.

Yes, gevonden om 9.25 uur

De auto tot bij het monument geparkeerd.Daarna een stukje langs een mooi bos gewandeld richting cache. Aldaar toch nog even moeten zoeken omdat ik alleen het eerste deel van de hint had gelezen. Het duurde dan ook even voordat de tweede Ardenner cache gevonden werd...
Maar al vroeg op pad dus ook nog tijd om door te stomen naar Beverce!

Parked at the strange monument. A beautiful walk and a long search. Just when we were to give up the cache was found. If we only had read the full hint it would have been much easier!
